About Heath Savage

Belfast native Heath Savage has lived in London, Brussels, Edinburgh, Los Angeles, and Sydney. She read History and English Literature at the University of Stirling in the 1980s, and worked across a range of disciplines – magazine publishing, hospitality, vocational education, and social services. In 2018 she finally abandoned city life, and settled in a village in rural Galicia, to write full time. She has since published popular articles, featuring ex-pat life in Spain, in several international English language newspapers, she has contributed prize-winning prose and poetry to The Good Life in Galicia anthology, and delivered a series of lectures and writing workshops at the government Escuela Oficial de Idiomas in the nearby town of Montforte de Lemos.
