About Peter Boland

Peter Boland is a published author known for writing cozy mystery stories and thrillers. He studied at first to be an architect, but after some time he realized that he was not very good. While he enjoyed designing buildings, he found that he could not make them stand up, a bit of a hold back in an industry that prefers to have things upright. So it was that he switched over to the advertising field, ending up penning ads that sold everything from zombie video games to cruise lines. Peter would eventually become disillusioned with the practice of working for ad agencies. He switched over to writing thriller novels, an endeavor that also afforded him the opportunity to continue to work from home in his pajamas. Soon he became aware that when it comes to writing, there isn’t a magic formula.
